"ED Visit"

About: Margaret River Hospital

(as a service user),

Presented to ED with severe pain from a suspected chronic illness flare up. As someone who is neurodivergent and already finds hospital visits especially challenging, I truly appreciate how considerate and understanding staff are at Margaret River Hospital. I felt that my pain was heard and validated, and investigated promptly to ensure nothing more serious or urgent was going on. Thank you, MRH!

Dear violet63

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am so pleased to hear that, during what must have been a very difficult and painful time, our team was able to provide care that felt considerate, validating, and responsive to your needs.

We understand that hospital visits can be especially challenging for people who are neurodivergent, and it means a great deal to know that you felt supported and listened to at Margaret River Hospital. Your kind words are a reflection of the compassion and commitment our staff bring to their work each day, and I will be sure to share your feedback with them.

On behalf of the team, thank you again for your thoughtful message. We wish you all the very best with your ongoing health and care, and please know that you are always welcome here at MRH.

Warm regards,
Marie Tweedie
