(as a relative),

I just want to congratulate all the staff in ED, reception, ward staff, kitchen staff on their compassion, kindness and level of professionalism they showed to mum. The care of a dementia elder was amazing and surprising. In particular Dalmia, a RN in general ward. His caring, kind attitude was refreshing and reassuring. Thank you staff! ! Thank you for the wonderful food, it must have been beautiful for Mum ate a lot of most meals.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this feedback about your mother's stay at Wonthaggi Hospital. Your feedback has been passed on to the staff in the ED and the ward, and the kitchen. We are very lucky to have such wonderful staff at Bass Coast Health and Dalmia is indeed one of our nursing stars - he is a very humble, very expert, and highly compassionate nurse who goes above and beyond to make sure his patients are well supported. As to the food - we cook all our food fresh on site and our Chefs and Food Services staff take a great amount of pride in making sure there are empty plates returning to the kitchen. They will be very stoked to hear your feedback. Thanks again for posting this and don't hesitate to be in contact with us if we can support you and your mum in the future.
