Recently I was called back in to Box Hill Hospital to repeat some bloods my baby of only a few weeks had had that morning, to double check a reading that was alarming. After a fumble in triage a young paediatrician by the name of Matt recognised our information, was so nice and took us straight through to paediatric emergency. He was so calming and nice to us and made us feel at ease straight away! The senior registrar Lacey that we dealt with was absolutely phenomenal! He was the loveliest, calmest and ever so informative man I have ever dealt with. His manner was so respectful and the way he explained the current situation with our little one was calm, not sugar coated but empathetic to our situation and made me be able to understand exactly what is happening. Nice to not have information hidden from us and know the full picture and future possibilities without being dramatic and over the top. So, so happy with all our care from Eastern Health so far.
