"Emergency ward inpatient"

About: The Northern Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was taken in ambulance to your Emergency Department due to severe bleeding from the ruptured varicose vein. The ambulance took me to Northern Hospital, which is quite a distance from where I live. When I got out from the ambulance my foot was bleeding, paramedics reinforced the dressing with more combine. The doctor came to see me about an hour and a half later (in the early hours of the morning) and advised for a dressing with Kaltostat. The nurse who attended me put tiny bits of kaltostat on my wound and applied a combine with a loose bandage. I requested the leftover kaltostat in case it was to bleed again at home. She said once the packet is open you can't reuse it. I requested her to put that in the same packet and give to me, I sent my husband to 5 pharmacies to buy this and couldn't get it. The nurse, in front of me put it with the dirty stuff and threw it into the bin. She said it is expensive. Why was she like that? I am from a different country and I believe this is called bullying and harassment. She removed my IV cannula in front of the nurse reception and sent me home.

While coming out from the ER my foot was bleeding heavily, my cannula site was bleeding heavily. The receptionist asked me to go and sit somewhere, I grabbed the tissues from there to put at the cannula site. My husband called the same nurse who had been attending to me and she came and I believe she screamed at me, saying I didn't hold my arm properly. She called the cleaner to clean the blood, brought the wheelchair and rushed to ED, applied another combine and bandage. She gave me 2 blueys and a combine, no bandage to use it in the in car in case. From Northern Emergency I had to go to another hospital to fix my problem at 2'o clock in the morning. I believe, if the nurse had given me a bandage it wouldn't have happened.
