Hello. The wonderful staff at Worrigee Medical Centre have helped my mum get off Xanax (which she has been on for 16 years).
We went to see Janice the Mental Health Nurse to get approval for mum to be taking Xanax.
She convinced mum to get off it fully by swapping over to Valium then reducing the Valium gradually.
We have had full support from Janice by going to see her every few weeks and mum has even been able to call her for additional support.
And of cause our wonderful doctor (Dr Latisha). She is so caring, nice and helpful.
Hopefully when we go and see Janice next week mum can get the go ahead to completely go off them .
Mum is so proud of herself and so is her family.
