"Hospital lack of care"

My partner recently stayed at Delmont Private Hospital and encountered what I believe was sub-par care. She suffers from Fibromyalgia and thus experiences extreme pain and difficulty walking. First she was made to traverse over five steps (with her walker) to access the smoking area, while a disabled accessible area was available but barred to her.

On arrival they took all her medication to process, then left her in agony for several hours before the doctor saw her. Then on subsequent days the nurses issued half doses of her pain medication saying, this is what you are getting, deal with it.

When my partner complained about extreme pain from the bed she was told by a nurse, you don't have anything serious to complain about. Later it was found that the mattress was upside down and had no padding on the top.

Now she is at Epworth and the pain specialist completely changed out her medications citing the previous ones were completely wrong for her various diagnoses.
