"Wonderful program at Wattlegrove"

About: Lyndon Wattlegrove Residential Rehab

(as a service user),

To whom it may concern,

I am taking a moment to tell you about my experience with Wattlegrove Rehab. I was at the rehab around 4 months. I came to the program with no more than a bag of clothes and nothing else; no hope for the future. In the 4 months I was at Wattlegrove my quality of life improved by 90%. Not only am I drug-free, but I have learned cooking, cleaning, communication, conflict resolution, and what cravings are and how to avoid relapse. But the most important thing is I got a lot of certificates, like RSA, RSG, etc. that increase my ability to find a job.

A lot of the staff are wonderful, some of them being addiction survivors themselves. I really liked the virtues program because they teach things like love, hope, thankfulness, flexibility, kindness, etc. just to name a few, and explained what they mean and asked people to practice them. Not everyone has had these things in their life and addiction can make you forget. I think the virtues program increased my overall happiness by getting me to see what I have, not what I don't.

I think that the 2 case worders, Adele and Teresa, and the boss Joel, go over and above to accommodate for the individual person's needs. Wattlegrove has been the best choice I have made and will be forever grateful for the program. I owe my life to this program and the staff. My kids have their mother back and I have my life and happiness. Thank you.

I manage the process of writing reports for the organisation's funding bodies, administer the client data system and prepare and analyse client data for reporting purposes.

Hello quality of life,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story and experiences of the Wattlegrove program. I will make sure that the staff at Wattlegrove receive your feedback.

We are always happy to hear that our programs are succeeding in supporting people through what is often a challenging phase of the recovery journey. Although the staff work very hard, don't forget that the hardest work in rehab is done by you.

We wish you the very best for the next part of your journey. If you feel at any time like you would like further support, or someone to chat to, please give us a call on 1300 LYNDON (1300 596 366).

Kind Regards,

Josh
