"Treatment of a patient in the bed next to me"

About: Bunbury Hospital

(as other),

I was admitted to Bunbury Hospital. The patient in the bed next to me was very sick and I believe was being spoken to roughly with no respect. They were obviously very sick and in my opinion weren’t being looked after properly. The nurses were so very rude to them. They shouted at them. They didn’t seem to show any respect at all. Not at all the way I would think an ill person should be spoken to. They should have been treated better. They died in the night. All the other patients in the room were horrified by the treatment by the nursing staff. Such a horrible death for the poor person.

Update posted by DisappointedPatient (other)

Hi Jan,

Thanks for your reply. I’ve tried to reach you numerous times over the last week. The number you provide above gives a recorded message to say ‘this number is not activated’. I also tried to reach you through the main switch number, once the operator didn’t know who you were and put me through to a line that wasn’t answered. Another time I left a message for you on your voice mail. I’m very happy to give you more details but it’s proving difficult to contact you.
