"Wonderful MENZ DEN Collective program"

Each week there is a meeting of a number of mature-aged gentlemen who come together to discuss interesting topics and share their life experiences. The men meet for about 2.5 hours in the privacy of a comfortable meeting room with great AV and projection equipment. They enjoy each others company and have been able to develop and renew life values and increase their happiness and family spirit.

This unique group was started back in September 2017 by Dezlie, Grevillea House Coordinator and community member, Philip, who facilitates and manages the MENZ DEN programme. They identified a need for mature men with dementia to reconnect to the community and their families. The MENZ DEN Collective has been able to achieve these qualities along with new inspiration, happiness and laughter.

After nine months of weekly meetings, a special thank you goes out to the MannaCare management, Dezlie, and the Grevillea House team in making an inspirational idea materialize.
