"My parent's care"

My parent has dementia and my family have cared for them for many years. We had integratedLiving services put in place. The district nurse showered my parent three times a week. The family still have to go daily to get my parent their breakfast and give them their pills. One district nurse said that they could do my parent's breakfast as it was simply a bowl of cereal and a cup of coffee. They could provide this service seven days a week. However, after about a week one nurse said they could no longer provide the service as there was 'no code' for it. So we cancelled all services and went back to doing it ourselves.
