About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / 1 East (Ophthalmology) Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital 1 East (Ophthalmology) Sydney 2000
I attended the SEH (Sydney Eye Hospital) for a cataract operation and before I could read, but immediately after I could not.I took emergency second opinion from another doctor and he performed emergency retina operation within four days of my first consultation.I need retina and cataract surgery, but I am not ready to attend the SEH again.I am not confident with having further surgery considering the previous experience.
My consultant said in the first instance retina surgery was needed first before the cataract was attempted. Considering this I need the operation on my right eye, but not confident the previous people involved would be the right outcome.
I had an unfortunate negative incident with a different doctor again, when I attended a post op and pre retina consult at the SEH.
Currently my sight is a major problem as my left eye which the SEH operated on is still not fixed. I need help.
