"Food at Perth Children's Hospital"

About: Perth Children's Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

As the new Perth Children’s Hospital has been open for a week now. We are finding you cannot get food after 2pm on weekends. How do parents get some food in the evenings. At PMH (Princess Margaret Hospital) we had the cafe that was open till 7pm every night and you could get normal food. Now at PCH you have go hunting for food in the afternoons on the weekends. The cafe do not make food on site. If it is not in the front cabinet you cannot get it. They do not make anything fresh. This makes life hard for parents who are caring for sick kids.

Dear sunfp58

Thank you for your comments.

We are fortunate at PCH to have a variety of food vendors spread across a number of floors. As the vendors are privately-owned I am not able to comment on their hours of operation and the availability of freshly made food, however, please be assured that I will pass your feedback on.

Thank you again for raising your concerns and providing feedback about PCH.

Kind regards

Dr Victor Cheng
