About: PathWest Wembley Collection Centre

(as the patient),

No indication of wait time. The nurse on duty said, won't be long, 3 times over an hour period. There needs an over/under system. Over 15 minutes / under 15 minutes. Over 1/2 hour/ under 1/2 hour. I waited over an hour with no true update of time. If I had known early enough I could've gone and come again later.

Dear well frustrating,

I am sorry to hear of your experience at one of our collection rooms. Although it is difficult to anticipate the length of time per collection, I do accept that some estimate of waiting time should be provided, and communicated to clients.

This is an area of improvement we are currently trying to attend to, especially in our single staff centres. I would appreciate it if you could contact our Specimen Collection Manager, Mrs Elaine Toogood on 6457 4514 to provide some specific details so that we can investigate further, with the intent of improving our overall customer service.
