(as the patient),

I attended an endoscopy at Osborne Park Hospital recently. Overall the experience was pleasant and went well, the staff were friendly and explained everything that they were doing. The only negative if  I had to pick one was the fact that I arrived at 1pm and did not get into my procedure until 5pm - which I fully understand cannot be avoided at times.

Thank you for your taking the time to share your experience of Osborne Park Hospital following your recent endoscopy.

It was so pleasing to hear that the staff were friendly and took the time to explain your care and treatment. I know that they too will be heartened to read your message and I will ensure it is passed onto them.

I was however very sorry to hear of the lengthy wait time you experienced between your arrival to OPH and when you went in for your procedure and appreciate your understanding. We do schedule arrival times to allow for admission processes, and also provide information to patients prior to their procedure regarding expected timeframes. On some occasions these may be delayed due to a number of reasons. I apologise that staff did not keep you informed of the delay on the day you attended.

As a result of your feedback we have reviewed the information provided on our endoscopy appointment letters to ensure that expected timeframes are clear.

Once again I would like to thank you most sincerely for your feedback.
