My husband was recently admitted to Central Gippsland Health after a fall at home. I cannot fault the care we received, from the paramedics who attended my husband at home then transported him to hospital, to the fabulous and caring nursing staff in the emergency department. We felt very well looked after and informed about what was going on. Once the decision was made to admit my husband to the medical ward, let me say that the nurses, doctors, allied health, kitchen and cleaning staff were all absolutely amazing. We felt like people actually cared about us. Special thanks to Cass and Kate in the emergency department, and Jeff and Kate in the medical ward. Words are not enough to thank you all for your kindness. We are so very grateful to have such hardworking and dedicated staff in our local hospital to care for us in our time of need.
