"Getting control over my life, and being the best dad I can"

At the end of last year I was heavily addicted to using cannabis, I had lost my son, my job, countless friends and any sense of direction in my life. My mental state was very poor and I was thinking of attempting suicide every other day. 

It all came to a point when I was raided by the police and decided that I had to clean my life up. I turned to many rehab facilities around town and locally but I was turned away by all of them for cannabis being seen as not generally addictive.

My mother suggested Lives Lived Well, and Kim was incredibly helpful. She both motivated me to push myself out of the sessions and was incredibly supportive and insightful during the session.  Since starting sessions my mental state has improved dramatically and while it was only a few hours every other week, the sessions felt like a really big help and a good way to reflect. I can't thank Kim enough for her help.
