I would like to thank everyone at SCG for their excellent neurological expertise, compassion and family-inclusive approach. Our family came from Melbourne, country Victoria and overseas to be with their parents at this challenging time. In particular, we would like to mention the communications from Vanessa, Kimberley, & Mel who explained and reassured my husband of his progress. Having such a professional team on the Stroke Unit around us was reassuring, when we felt so far from home. Thank you to everyone who looked after us all.

Thank you very much for sharing your recent experience of the Stroke Service at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. I was very sorry to read of your husband’s recent stroke and can only imagine how frightening it must have been for you both, especially as you were away from your home and family. It was so pleasing to read about the compassionate and supportive care you received during your husband’s stay with us and the positive feelings this left you with.

I know the staff too, will be thrilled to receive your message of thanks. I will ensure this is passed onto them.
