We arrived for my young child's appointment at the Chandler House Outpatient Clinic (they have a severe ingrown toenail which we have been waiting to see someone about for around 6 months) which I and my husband had taken the day off work (unpaid leave) and our child obviously the day off school, to be told that there had been a mistake and somehow no one had noticed my child's age and that they should have been booked in to see a paediatrician and they would have to come back another day.
I am extremely angry that we have wasted an entire day, plus the money lost from not working and have to now do it again at another time due to the incompetence of what I assume is more than one person who can not read a simple birth date.
But I expect no one will care what this stupid stuff up will cost me personally and the blame will be simply passed around!
