Just over a month ago I got my wisdom teeth out. The nurses in the day surgery and in theatre were so lovely. Two days ago I needed unexpected surgery due to appendicitis and the nurses were just as wonderful. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the nurses and PSA’s (Patient Support Assistants) in the Day Surgery Ward and in the Theatre at the Geraldton Hospital. After having two lots of surgery in two months (one being very last minute and unexpected), I can honestly say that they’re so caring and helpful and nothing is ever too much! You all made hospital not such a bad place to be after all, so thank you. ❤️❤️

What a wonderful compliment, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience at the Geraldton Hospital on Patient Opinion, particularly in light of what must have been a fairly stressful time for you with two surgeries in as many months.

We really do value patient feedback as it enables us to reflect on what we do well and where we need to improve. Your positive experience is a great example of the work our team do every day and I will take great pride and delight in passing on your thanks and acknowledgement to our very committed frontline staff and their managers.
