"Hanen Group"

About: Hanen ‘It Takes Two To Talk’ speech and language program South West Health

(as a parent/guardian),

I attended Hanen Group in Collie at the Family Centre with my child who was showing some delays in speech, communication & socialisation.  Hanen has helped us to have better understanding of our child's way of learning and communicating & has taught us to follow our child's lead and wait for them to take turns and allow us to get more socialisation and communication. We are happy with what Hanen has done for us and grateful for the two lovely ladies that run the program and introduced us to it. Thank you and I hope more people take the opportunity to enjoy Hanen like we have.

Dear avocetbm55

Thank you so much for letting us know how the Hanen Program has helped you support your child with their speech, communication and socialisation. It is important to us that the service we offer in partnership with the Collie River Valley Child and Parent Centre offers a family centred approach, that gives families the support and assistance to set their own goals. It is wonderful to hear that you are happy with the program and that you feel it would be beneficial to others. I will pass on your kind words to both the Speech department and the Collie River Valley Child and Parent Centre who will be thrilled to hear that you were happy with the program and that you got a better understanding of your child's way of learning and communicating. We wish you and your child all the best for the future.

Kind regards

Alison Smith
