My grandmother has severe dementia. She is residing at Westhaven. Westhaven does not have a secure dementia ward. As my grandmother's condition progresses, this is becoming a problem. I feel scared that my grandmother is simply not safe.
Westhaven have made no attempt to secure new accommodation for my grandmother.
Is it legal to keep a dementia patient in a non dementia ward/unit? Is there any way I can enforce.
"Safety and security for people with dementia."
