"Oncology Rehab at Wantirna Health"

I was so lucky that Katrina, stem cell coordinator at Box Hill Hospital  recommended the Oncology Rehab program to me. The combination of an individualised exercise program and a wealth of relevant information really has made an incredible impact on my recovery from cancer.  Because of this program the benefits have surpassed everything. I had previously had cancer 6 years ago and was treated elsewhere and no rehab program was offered. The difference in my recovery between now and 6 years ago is not even close, you would not think possible. I'm more alert, look forward to going to rehab, doing exercise, talking to professionals about how you feel and how you are coping.  It's a one stop shop to get the oncology patients back to a better life. This program should be offered to all cancer patients and be more available. When patients finish their course they leave knowing they have a bright future and all because of Peter, Amy and Rita. I wish you three could be cloned and put in all hospitals because the difference you make to us is unbelievable. You give us confidence that we will be the person we were before we were sick.

Peter, Amy and Rita, thank you from the bottom of my heart, you have made me so much better and looking forward to life. I will miss not coming Tuesdays and Fridays.
