About: Maroondah Hospital / Mental Health Adult Inpatient Units (IPU1 and IPU2)

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter has been an inpatient in IPU2 twice in the last four months.

The professionalism of the staff is outstanding. Most of the staff genuinely care about the clients and treat them with dignity and respect no matter how challenging the circumstances. My family would like to thank all the nurses, doctors, cleaners and theatre transport staff for looking after our daughter. It has been the cleanest unit she has been in. The grounds are nice and well maintained.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share feedback on your experience regarding your daughter's time as an inpatient over the past four months in IPU2 at Maroondah Hospital.

These would have been challenging times for you all, and I was so pleased to read your reflections on the impact the staff (nurses, doctors, cleaners and theatre transport staff) have made on you all. Based on your experience and feedback, its clear to me that the Eastern Health values of Patients First, Kindness, Respect, Excellence, Agility and Humility are alive and well! It will give me great pleasure to share your feedback with the teams and their managers.

I trust your daughter's health continues to improve and she is receiving the care and service needed to support her on this journey.
