"James Milson Village Dementia Unit. Just wonderful."

I am an independent patient advocate and former RN. I see lots of care and lots of dying. Right now I have a dear friend dying at Milson Village and I haven’t seen Care done better. The nurses in the dementia unit are the wind beneath his wings. They bring a mix to their professionalism that you rarely see: expertise, compassion and completely patient centred care. That’s great for my friend and, for his wife, it’s as though these carers are part of an extended family. She trusts and relies on them and so can dispense with anxiety. She’s sad of course, but Milson Village has walked beside her every inch of the journey so she has been able to focus all her energy on her lovely husband. I don’t often have my expectations exceeded so wonderfully.
