"Bunbury Regional Hospital - quality service twice in two weeks"

About: Bunbury Hospital Bunbury Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I broke my toe recently and went to Bunbury Regional Hospital for help. The Doctor, Mike, was great. He kept me informed, treated my wife and I with respect and gave us a few laughs as well. We were in and out of there with minimal waiting time. I had to go back on another occasion for symptoms resembling a heart attack. The young Doctor that treated me was amazing, very competent and caring. He quickly put me at ease and arranged the necessary tests without delay. He also remained calm and professional when dealing with seemed to be an abusive obnoxious patient in the bay next to me. After a little while I was moved to the short stay ward. Nurse Ash was also a very competent, capable and caring young man. Doctor Mike even popped in to say hi.   The staff in E. D. and on the ward were all great, and we can't thank you enough for the top notch care I received.

Dear Grateful local

While it is unfortunate that you required the services of the Emergency Department team on two recent occasions, we are delighted to hear that you found the care in the ED and Short Stay Unit at the high standard that we strive to provide.

We will certainly pass on your positive feedback to the specific staff you have identified and the team in general.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback and trust you are now back to full health.
