Went to see a specialist at Park Central Campbelltown NSW. He charged me $200 for a 5 minute consultation. I have to get my gallbladder removed as most of the gallbladder is filled with stones. The doctor said he will not operate on my because of my size (he did not weigh me prior to mentioning this to me). He said to me that if I get put under it will complicate matters. I am a risk to be operated on because of my size. However, the doctor suggested that I can opt for lap band surgery? My question is, he refuses to operate on me due to complications caused by my weight but he willing to put me under to have lap band surgery? Where is the sense in this? I was mortified by his response. Worse still, I had to pay for this man to state the obvious?
