I have only praise for the time I spent in Wonthaggi Emergency and then into the hospital. The kindness and care by all helped me to get back on my feet and into Armitage House. 

The medical staff and all involved helping me get back to seeing and able to walk showed care and kindness, they were the best anyone could have. I am so grateful. The ladies and other staff who served our meals was always there with a smile and made me feel like no trouble. The ladies who looked after our rooms were always cheerful and had time for us, which helped us pass the time of day. The nurses in my mind were angels in disguise. Thank you all.

Dear hekaqx55,

It sounds like you have been through the mill a bit if you have been in our Emergency Department, then our acute ward, then into Armitage, our sub-acute ward. It also sounds like you have come out the other side, so well done to you - I hope that you continue to do well. It is always a very difficult experience to be in hospital for so long.

I very much appreciate you taking the time after such a long journey, to share your feedback about the staff and the services. I will confess that I am a bit biased, but I agree wholeheartedly that Bass Coast Health has excellent staff who take the time to care and understand the importance of kindness. I agree in particular, that our cleaning staff and food services staff provide the icing on the cake by taking the time to chat and care as they go about their business.

I will make sure that the staff receive your feedback and I am sure they, like me, appreciate your efforts in providing this feedback. All the best to you!
