"A carbuncle"

About: Geraldton Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I thought it was a boil. It was in fact a carbuncle. Friends at work talked me into going over to the hospital. I’m glad I did! Nurse Erica and her colleagues were absolutely brilliant in talking me through every step and explaining what was happening. Whilst it was a very painful experience I never want to experience again. Two weeks on, I’m nearly all healed which has been documented all the way through with photos. 

I have an appointment coming up, hopefully it’s healed enough to not be covered anymore.

I can’t thank the hospital nurses and administrators enough. You guys rock!!
