"Specialist refusing to treat"

I have been in pain for months.

I have just been to see a neurosurgeon, hoping to get an MRI and some professional opinion/advice.

I believe that because he had a thick accent, we could not communicate effectively and he somehow interpreted my questioning as aggressive. He ended up (after making it clear that I had already been there 15 mins), telling me he didn't think he could help me now.

I left very upset and confused and annoyed - but I don't even understand if I should be annoyed with myself for not communicating well, or with him for not listening well:(
