"Broome Hospital - birth story."

About: Broome Health Campus / Maternity/Midwifery

(as the patient),

I recently gave birth at Broome Hospital and was cared for by the Midwifery Group Practice (MGP).

My birth story, although is a bit rough around the edges, is still a positive birth story with elements of real joy. This is because of the truly amazing staff who I would like to acknowledge.

Alyce - my MGP midwife, Talia -MGP midwife, Pam who had the patience to teach me how to breastfeed, Alicia - midwife and the Drs Michael and Liz.

I was at my most vulnerable during this time and I can't express gratitude enough to these individuals who made me feel safe and held. Thank you.

Dear Birth at Broome

Thank you so very much for your lovely feedback about the staff who work within the maternity services at Broome Regional Health Campus. Staff provide a safe and nurturing environment for their patients and we are very proud of the work they do. I will pass on your thanks to the group. Congratulations on the birth of your baby and I hope everything is going well for you now that you are settled at home.

Warm regards

Helen Fullarton
