"Hospital stay from a parent's point of view"

About: Perth Children's Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

Can I please suggest that you have a channel on your TV of music for deep sleep. Also a recharging station - like the ones they have at the airports.

Dear Delphinuscr39,

Thank you for your feedback about how we can improve our services for children and families staying at Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH). I am happy to advise that in early April we introduced a channel on our Patient Entertainment System called Relaxing Melodies. This channel is dedicated to relaxing music to assist with sleep and relaxation.

I can confirm there are USB power points located in each patient room. In addition, the Family Resource Centre located near the northern entrance to PCH on the ground floor has a mobile charging station that includes various mobile phone cords for families to charge their phones. Staff on your child’s ward will able to assist in directing you to the Family Resource Centre.

Thank you again for taking the time to bring these suggestions to our attention, and please accept my best wishes for your family.

Kind regards

Dr Aresh Anwar
