About: Bendigo Health Kerang Hospital / Theatre

(as the patient),

Staff are excellent. Meals heaps better than another hospital I've been to. Great that we can tap into Bendigo Health for specialist advice for example, oncologist. Good having oncology-trained nurses on acute ward sometimes.

Thank you for your very kind words. Kerang has been fortunate in being able to train three more oncology nurses who also work in other areas of our hospital. We are very proud that we can work closely with visiting oncologists (and other specialists) to provide high level care to our community. I agree that our kitchen staff do a great job and I will pass on your kind comments.

Thank you for taking the time to write your story. You make a really interesting point about the food at the health service. We are very fortunate to have a kitchen on site with three qualified chefs who provide freshly cooked meals.
