I emailed T H last week (pre Easter) to let them know I couldn't make my appointment due to a family funeral in Central Queensland.
I then phoned the Gastroenterology department and spoke to E to reiterate my inability to make my appointment.
I was informed by E that I would be put down as a "no show" as I had left it to the same day to cancel and that I would not be able to reschedule because it was up to the doctors to decide.
Not acceptable when I'm attending a family funeral for one thing. And I tried to notify earlier with no results.
"Appointment postponement."
