(as the patient),

I recently attended the Emergency Department, l was triaged by Emily who was efficient  and prompt, my wait to be taken to a cubicle was not that long. l was then cared for by M who was very professional and caring. Dr Will saw me and when my treatment started he explained everything to me  and before discharge l was aware of all the tests that had been done and what my responsibility was to complete my follow up with my GP

My name is Mandy and I am the Director of Nursing at Central Gippsland Health. I am writing this response together with Tom who is one of the Associate Nurse Unit Managers of the Emergency Department.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your visit to our Emergency Department. We hope you are feeling better!

We are pleased that you were seen promptly by our triage nurse and that your care was commenced so quickly. It's great to hear that you received such good care during your stay and education prior to going home - it is important to us that you understand your condition and treatment before leaving us and returning to your GP.

We will be sure to pass on your comments to the team, especially Nurse Emily on Triage, Nurse M and Dr Will.
