Last week I brought my distressed spouse, who was in some considerable pain, to the Emergency Department at Fiona Stanley Hospital in the early hours of the morning on two consecutive nights. The kindness, compassion and professionalism of the staff was impeccable. All too often we only hear about the negative experiences of people in the hospital system, but I cannot speak highly enough of the care and attention that my spouse received at the hands of the ED staff at FSH. I offer my thanks for their help and re-assurance during what was a very stressful episode for us.
