We are travelling by road and before leaving home, surgery had been performed to remove melanomas. During the trip, the wounds were breaking down and deteriorating and any hope of healing required medical attention.
Fortunately, at Exmouth Emergency Department there was no waiting time. Both Trish, the nurse, and David, the doctor, attended quickly and efficiently giving us advice for ongoing treatment and cleaning and dressing wounds with care. The same was experienced at Geraldton Emergency Department.
We are so fortunate to live in a country where medical assistance is so readily available. Our experience was a great relief and we are so very grateful to all involved in the public system. Thank you most sincerely.
