"The high standard of the Meekatharra Hospital"

I was in the remote areas around Meekatharra and got an infection in my middle figure on my left hand. I rang and explained what my issue was and it was suggested that it would be a good thing to come into the hospital and have my figure checked out.

When I presented myself into the Meekatharra Hospital the nursing staff inspected my finger and dressed it. The resident doctor, Dr Joseph was notified and I was admitted. My first opinion of Dr Joseph was very positive as he was very easy to talk to and he spoke in basic understanding which made me very relaxed right from the start.

Over the next 6 days, I was given antibiotics intravenously to sort out the infection. During my stay in The Meekatharra Hospital, the friendliness standard and professionalism of the entire staff from the doctor right down to the tea ladies made my stay so relaxing.

In the past, I have spent quite a lot of time in Hospitals around Perth and not having issues with the staff it just wasn't anywhere near the standards of the Meekatharra staff. The meals were varied and absolutely yummy. So to all of the staff, I say thank you for helping me and for being wonderful people.
