"Birthing Experience at Sale Hospital"

I had my first baby recently at the Sale Hospital and had the most AMAZING experience, despite my birthing plan not going 'to plan'. The midwifery team, Anaesthetist, Obstetricians and surgery staff were absolutely wonderful- I could not fault anyone, they were all fantastic at explaining situations and guiding me through the entire experience, from the WHIMS clinic right through to having had my baby.

The team were extremely encouraging, supportive and informative. The surgery team and doctors put my mind at complete ease despite a very scary experience, and the anaesthetist made me feel confident that they would take care of me.

The midwifery team is just amazing. It was like first-time mum baby bootcamp and they all helped to answer any questions, helped me with my baby, helped to look after me and were just so supportive of not only myself, but my spouse as well. I completely trusted them and felt sad leaving the hospital and that the experience was over - as I really loved it!

The cleaning staff and food staff were also lovely.

The post-care is also great! I feel relieved to have such a supportive service, with phone calls from the nurses almost daily after going home. As a result - I feel like a confident and happy mum with a beautiful, healthy newborn. 

I cannot thank the team enough - they are truly incredible!
