I had a colonoscopy at Collie Hospital. The whole process from booking in, pre-admission phone call (to clarify requirements and for me to ask questions) was excellent.
I was told that if my PicoPrep hadn’t worked by a certain time after hours, to call the hospital and I did. They were very busy at the time with an emergency and on the wards, and so I had to call back. When I did, I was told to present myself at the planned time and that I may need an enema.
At all times I felt very cared about and looked after and the procedures (enema and colonoscopy), went well.
I thought my treatment and care by the entire staff was excellent!
