My parent had Pituitary Tumour surgery at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital recently. The experience they had there was outstanding.

Their time critical surgery happened in good time, as it should.

My parent was well managed by the entire team of Medical, Nursing and Allied Health staff, passing through Pre-admission, Theatre, HDU, G52 and GEM Rehab, before heading to another hospital to finish off.

My parent's feedback was glowing about the wonderful staff and the effort they went to in caring for them. 'They work so hard' my parent said.

They were professional and communicated effectively with both my parent and us as a family, and made the frightening experience so reassuringly easy. Special mentions to EN Tash on G52 and RN Bek on G54.  

Even the person at reception went out of their way to be helpful. Thank you all so much for the good work that you do. 

We are so lucky to have a health system that delivers excellent outcomes even when it's clearly under extreme pressure.

It is so pleasing to hear that your parent and family had such excellent care throughout their patient journey. Your feedback clearly shows the positive impact that having a dedicated and caring team of Medical, Nursing, Allied Health and Administrative staff can have on the patient experience.

I will forward your lovely compliment to the areas and staff involved in your parent’s care so that they know how much you appreciated the way they looked after your parent during what must have been a very stressful time.
