Recently I had to take my parent to ED.  The staff were very kind, helpful and so caring.  It was wonderful.  The doctor was absolutely amazing. They were must have been very busy but they took the time to listen to my parent and showed a lot of care and understanding.  They were gentle, compassionate and full of humour and joy. It was really wonderful and my parent felt like they were being listened to.

This care and respect continued when my parent was placed in a room in Ward 2.  The staff were absolutely fantastic.  I have left every night feeling that my parent is in safe hands and being cared for very well.  Rita, a nurse in Ward 2 has also been fantastic with my parent.

I truly appreciate it.

Hello A relieved relative,

I am so glad that you felt reassured and your parent felt listened to when you recently visited BHC ED and Ward 2.

We have a really great team here who work together to do the best for each and every patient.

The ward Clinical Nurse Manager and I will pass your comments on to the staff in each area and especially to Rita.

They will all be delighted that they made a difference.

I do hope your parent is continuing in better health.

Thank you for that. Can I say that it was actually Liz in Ward 2 (where I got Rita from I have no idea) and the Dr was incredible as well.
