"Friendly and professional staff"

About: Albany Health Campus / Operating Theatre Albany Health Campus / Recovery

(as the patient),

I had a colonoscopy recently and the team were very professional from pre-surgery text reminders to discharge. Admission was friendly and easy, my nurse who admitted me was chatty and very friendly, and the post-op team were great. The ham and cheese toastie after 3 days without solid food was divine.

I was hesitant as a public patient, but my experience (for an unpleasant procedure) could not have been done better. On waking up a surgeon was standing at my bed to explain what was found and what was done, and I got a copy of the report to take home.

Not one staff member didn't smile, yet they all were extremely careful and professional. Well done all at Albany Health Campus WA.

Dear Doggydoctor,

Thank you for sharing such positive feedback about Albany Health Campus on Patient Opinion.

The cheese toastie maker was recently purchased by the nurses of the Day of Surgery Admission (DOSA) Unit, following patient feedback that it would be great to have something different to a cold sandwich. The toasties have been going down very well.

Thank you for recognising the friendliness, care and professionalism of the staff at Albany Health Campus.

Best wishes,

Juan Clark

Operations Manager, Albany Health Campus
