"My parent's care"

My parent has a lot of long-term health problems and has had many admissions to Albany Health Campus over the years. On this occasion, they were admitted to the medical ward with cellulitis and leg ulcers. All of the staff in Emergency Department (ED), on the ward and in GSR were professional, friendly and patient. I was especially impressed with Julie the Podiatrist and Julie the Wound Care Nurse who were very gentle, made sure that good follow up arrangements were in place once my parent went home, and explained things to them really well. It's really important to me and to my parent that they feel welcome and safe in their local hospital, so the care and kindness is very much appreciated.
