"Broken Arm"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My young child and I were sent via ambulance from another hospital to the Bunbury Emergency Department. Upon arrival with the wonderful ambulance staff, an X-ray was done super quick, plaster put on and we were off to Bunbury Hospital for surgery.

It was a busy night in the ED but they managed to see to us very quickly.

The staff were kind, gentle and professional and really looked after both my child and me and treated us with kindness and respect. I felt reassured they would take good care of my little one.

Though my child was quite upset, they worked with them to keep them as unstressed as possible and did a beautiful job of looking after them. Couldn’t have been happier with the service for surgery and in the paediatric ward.

Dear SuJoDa,

Thank you for taking the time to post such wonderful feedback on Patient Opinion. The staff of all the areas you named will appreciate the post. It was terrific to hear that you and your child were treated with kindness, respect and that you felt reassured your little one was in safe hands.

I do hope your child is recovering well and that the surgery and cast won't impact too much on your child enjoying the festive season.

Regards

Glen Matters
