Recently, I had to attend the same day unit for a common procedure. I had to arrive after midday and my departure was later in the afternoon.  The staff/nurses/doctors and Specialists there were fantastic. So friendly and welcoming. The Anaesthetist I had was the only one that actually listened to me when I told him that every single time I have anaesthetic, whether full or twilight, it doesn't matter, I will feel violently ill or will be vomiting and he figured out what the problem might be.

Extremely happy to say that after my procedure I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwiches for once and no sickness at all. Keep up the good work everyone there in the day procedure unit. You put me at ease and made the experience a better one.

The care you describe is what Armadale strives to provide consistently to every patient, every day. I am so proud to hear how welcoming and friendly the entire team were.

I was particularly pleased to hear the listening skills of the anaesthetist were so very important in you being able to share your previous experience and ensure a plan was made to provide you with the best possible outcome. This is exactly the professional behaviour our health service values align with.
