"Roadmaps program is deadly"

About: Lives Lived Well – Dubbo (Roadmaps)

(as a service user),

The Roadmaps program is deadly. You meet deadly people and the course itself is deadly. You learn skills you can use. I learnt how to stop, think, do when I'm thinking of having a bong - should I have it or not. During the program I realised that I will wake up tomorrow and I'll try again (at reducing my use).

During the Roadmaps program you learn from each other. The people I met during the group - I wouldn't have said hello to them on the streets before but now I know them and they know me a bit better.

Hello wearingdy77,

Thank you for telling your story and how "deadly" you found the Lives Lived Well's Roadmaps program - the people you met and connected with, the course and the skills you learnt and how you have applied that to your life. Well done.

Getting up and trying again is a key element in making any change in our lives and it is great you had that realisation during the program.

I wish you all the best in your journey ahead.

Warm regards

Gerard
