"My hospital stay"

About: Carnarvon Hospital

(as the patient),

I injured my leg and was unable to weight bear requiring a stay in hospital. I needed to stay for 5 nights. The care I received from the moment I arrived by ambulance until discharge was excellent. The staff were very caring and made sure I was comfortable with pain meds given regularly as needed. All needs were attended to. Physiotherapy was organised and my first time out of bed was agonisingly painful but got better each time I was seen. I was given exercises to do to strengthen my leg and help heal it.

Everyone that looked after me, from cleaners, food services, orderlies, x-ray, nurses and doctors, were fantastic. I feel we are blessed to have such good service in our town with people who take pride in their work and have caring hearts. Thank you Carnarvon  Hospital
