We received a reminder text message recently, it was about a future appointment for the next day. The message had a polite sense of urgency and responsibility attached to it, and I wanted to thank you for getting the message service to us early in the morning, to allow time to re-schedule and re-book if needed.
The message emphasised the importance of attendance (in our case we were able to re-schedule allowing someone else waiting to utilise the appointment) .
The message gives you an immediate call to action with a callback and a reply SMS option.
I followed this up with an immediate call and Amanda from Outpatients was brilliant in allowing me to defer the appointment without hassle to the specialist, or the booking schedule. So glad for the message and being able to potentially make space for another patient to use our time slot (and allow enough notice).
Well done on the great and efficient service.
