After reading a few negative stories, I feel I must tell mine as I have nothing but high praise for all the staff.
I live overseas and came home to visit family a few years ago. I had felt a lump for a couple of months and finally went to a GP for a referral. Things went very quickly from that point and I had surgery in the same month.
My surgeon was amazing, she was so kind and explained everything clearly to.me prior to my surgery and showed me compassion and kindness. I saw her several times after my initial surgery as sadly I had a few complications. She was always gentle and ready to help me in any way possible. The whole team was amazing from the reception staff to the breast care nurses and also the radiation staff at Fiona Stanley.
I am now back overseas, living my very best life. I have my follow up treatments done here but always look back at my time at the Royal Perth Hospital with gratitude for the wonderful care I was given and the kindness I was shown.
