Two of my relatives have been in Bupa, Maroubra. I would like to leave a positive review on Bupa, Maroubra as it seems that there has been a lot of negative publicity about nursing homes over the last year. I believe there is no such thing as a perfect nursing home.
I would like to recommend this facility due to the kindness of its workers that I have dealt with, from tea ladies to support staff and the professionalism of its senior staff and in particular, Doris (the Nurse Unit Manager) who supervises and trains the staff to do the best that they can under difficult circumstances.
It is not an easy journey, travelling through a parent's last chapter but it is important to make good choices where and when you can.
